Orchestral and Choral activities
The orchestral and choral practice are essential activities of NEOJIBA Program. Using a new methodology of teaching music inspired by "El Sistema" in Venezuela, together with social integration and artistic excellence, the NEOJIBA achieves amazing results in a short time.
Musical Training
Music training in various aspects is a priority of NEOJIBA, offering members of the NGF (Center for Management and Training) activities such as: Conducting Class, Theory, Monitoring Training, Workshops, Arrangements and Composition, and a program Fellows training apprentices in technical and management within the program. The NEOJIBA promotes an annual Educational Seminar with national and international guests oppened to the general public as well.
Public Apearances
With its many artistic groups (symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, choirs and cameratas) NEOJIBA promotes the different types of public apearances, as Symphonic Concert, Didactic Concerts, Chamber Concerts and special concerts. Workshop School of Lutheria
The NEOJIBA has the only professional Workshop School of Lutherie for strings in Bahia and in addition to meeting the demands of the orchestra program, provides repair services and maintenance of strings instruments for the musicians in town. The workshop also maintains training activities, enabling fellows program through internships and workshops.
Documentation Center
The NEOJIBA has an extensive music library that includes sheet music, CDs, DVDs and books, as well as record of all activities undertaken by the program, with audio and video files, photos, articles, magazines, newspapers and newsletters.
Pedagogical Exchanges
The NEOJIBA promotes educational exchanges between their Centers and Projects Partners, as well as establishing partnerships with renowned national and international institutions, such as the Music Foundation Simon Bolivar, Venezuela, the Conservatory of Geneva, Switzerland , the National Youth Orchestra of the United Kingdom. The NEOJIBA was the 1st Brazilian program to integrate Jeunesses Musicales International, the largest chain of musical projects for youth, involving more than 40 countries.
